After spending seven days living with our new iPods, we’re gonna let them stay. As far as media-slinging sidekicks go, they’re pretty good. But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows.
iPod Touch: Multimedia Life-Partner
It’s easy to say that the new iPod Touch is the best iPod Touch ever. (It is.) It is un-possibly thin—so thin that you release a slow gasp as you peel it out of its snug acrylic womb. The way the polished chrome back bends space around it renders it thinner still, like you’re holding a screen imprinted into the air in front of you. (At least, until it’s scuffed and scratched and nicked into reality.) You only get a true sense of its dimensions when you plug it in for the first time: It’s exactly thick enough to accommodate the holes for a dock connector and headphones.
Review: The New iPod Nano
Well this does not need to be said, but Apple make some of the coolest products, here is the review.
Apple’s iPod nano 2010 is a good MP3 player. It’s tiny, the battery seems to last forever, and it has a great user interface.
This is the best pure music player out there right now, thanks to the combination of its physical specs and user interface. It may not be the prettiest—it reminds me of some Chinese generic MP3 player designs—but the combination of its hardware and user interface make it a winner for anyone in search of a simple, ultra-compact, no-complex-apps-or-games-needed, extremely-easy-to-operate music player. Especially sports people.

Well, folks, It’s that time where a popular game eventually has its exploits exposed to the world. This isn’t really a game breaking glitch (In fact, you can even make the argument that it’s game making.), but with a bit of trickery and a lot of tapping, you can apparently unlock the second and third set of levels on Angry Birds without having to finish Poached Eggs. Our good friend Kellex from Droid-Life shows us how to do just that in this video. The instructions, which can be found below (and reproduced in the video) are pretty straightforward and should be easy enough for anyone cheap enough to do this.
How To: Root the HTC MyTouch 3G
I. Before You Begin
1. This works on the OLD MyTouch only (the one without the 3.5mm headphone jack at the top of the phone).
2. YOU MUST DO THIS WHOLE PROCEDURE AND THEN DO THE NEXT ONE ON LOADING A CUSTOM ROM TO GET FULL ROOT ACCESS!
II. Downgrade to Cupcake
1. Download the Original SAPPIMG.nbh:

2. Plug the phone into your computer via USB. Select Mount by pulling down on the notification bar at the top of the phone’s screen and selecting the USB notification. You should now be able to access the sd card in your phone on your computer.

2. This procedure gives you root access on your phone, in order to load a custom ROM, please do this procedure then continue to the next procedure for your specific device at the end of this procedure.
T-Mobile G2 OTA Rolling Out, Brings WiFi Calling?
Well that was quick! Just six days after its official launch, there have been reports of a T-Mobile G2 OTA update rolling out this morning. The update is the G2′s first OTA update which reportedly enables WiFi-Calling (surprise, suprise) Mobile hotspot creation, update to the radio code (which will hopefully rectify the reception issues I’ve been having), and includes a few other fixes. We’ve yet to recieve the update on our T-Mobile G2, but if you’ve recieved the update drop us a line in the comments!
