myTouch 3G will run Android 2.2 soon!!

Just back in May, T-Mobile said the original myTouch 3G will be capable to run Android 2.1. Now, officially, T-Mobile said that myTouch 3G will be upgradable to Android 2.2 soon.

“Coming soon, we plan to upgrade existing myTouch 3G phones, not just our Slide, to the latest software version, Android 2.2 Froyo.. It will mean that users of older devices can get the most up to date software. Users can also look forward to the following future updates”

A modified version of the Faves Gallery.

The Genius Button application will be available, not like the built in on the Slide but the same features.
