Love the Android operating system but envious of Windows Phone 7 and its Metro UI? Can’t say we feel the same, but just in case you fall into that category you are in luck. Windows Phone Android is a new launcher application that will transform your handset’s UI into the operating system you never wanted, right down to the Internet Explorer tile icon. It is currently available in the Android Market, though consider it in the early stages of development. Check out the video below and decide if it’s worth your $2.99.

T-Mobile MyTouch or T-Mobile G2

Posted by Ken S. on November 30, 2010 in Android, Smart Phones |

Hi all, I am looking to upgrade my phone, I have narrowed it down to the T-mobile MyTouch 4G or the T-Mobile G2, while they are very similar and it looks like the MyTouch has the edge.

I am steering toward the G2, however I have gotten so used to the onscreen keyboard I fell I would not use the keyboard on the G2. My big motivator it Root, I have rooted every Android phone I have got my hands on, and I see the MyTouch lacks in this area, oh it will come, but the G2 has it now.

If anyone other has any thing to add to this I would greatly appreciate it.

Windows Phone 7 Review: Ladies and Gentlemen, We Have Ourselves a Race

Windows Phone 7 Review: Ladies and Gentlemen, We Have Ourselves a Race

Let’s just get it out of the way: Windows Phone 7 is the most exciting thing to happen to phones in a long time.

Windows Phone 7 Review: Ladies and Gentlemen, We Have Ourselves a Race

There are a million reasons why Windows Phone 7 matters. It’s the most important PC company in the world, battered, bruised and badly lagging, coming back to the next generation of PCs, after crashing on a bunch of rocks and abandoning ship. It’s potentially the most tectonic shift in mobile since the launch of iPhone and Android. It’s Microsoft starting over and betting massively on its future. It’s a very different kind of Microsoft product. It could be the beginning of something truly great.
