HTC Sensation 4G coming to T-Mobile U.S.A. this summer
The new HTC Sensation will be making its way to T-Mobile’s network here in the U.S. sometime this summer as the HTC Sensation 4G with a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch qHD display, 1540 mAh battery, 8 megapixel camera, and a front-facing VGA shooter for video calling.
T-Mobile will be releasing information about the HTC Sensation 4G’s price and launch date at a future time. Since HTC and Vodafone plan on pushing the phone out in late may to several European markets, we hope Magenta’s launch of the HTC Sensation isn’t too far out.
HTC News: Traces of New HTC Sense on HTC Sensation with Godly Visitations, Love & More
We already know that the HTC Sensation will come with the HTC Watch video rental and buying service. A new video from an HTC Roadshow demo shows that new HTC Sense will have a new onscreen HTC keyboard with Swype-like style. The Trace feature is disabled by default but can enabled from keyboard setting. It has refinement setting for different finger sizes.
How to Get Better Battery Life from Your Android Phone
If you have a modern Android phone, you know the pain of turning on your phone at 5 PM only to realize it’s deep in a low-battery coma. Here are the simple manual changes, and clever automatic tweaks, that will keep your phone awake and useful for far longer.
There are a lot of different things that can kill your phone’s battery, and oftentimes they’re things you don’t even need. We’ve mentioned quite a few of these before, but if you’re having serious battery life issues on your phone, make sure you check each of these settings, features, and customizations to make sure you’re getting the best battery life possible out of your phone.
Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon roadmap bumped back a little, expectations remain great
Seems like we just can’t get ARM’s next-generation Cortex-A15 system-on-chip out of our minds. Having figured as a headline item in LG’s ARM licensing deal this morning, it’s now shown up on a leaked Qualcomm roadmap, landing itself a lynchpin role in that company’s Snapdragon future. Alas, Qualcomm had been promising for the earliest of its MSM8930 / 60 and APQ8064 Snapdragons to be sampling in Q2 of this year, but this latest schedule shows them as sampling at the end of 2011. This isn’t hugely surprising in light of ARM’s recent forecast of Cortex-A15 devices in “late 2012,” but it’ll be disappointing to users keen to be exploiting quad-GPU and quad-CPU mobile rigs as soon as humanly possible. Guess that just leaves us waiting for the NGP or NVIDIA’s quad-core SOC in August. Hit the source link for more on Qualcomm’s plans for the near and distant future.
Force Android Devices to Get System Update [HTC Only]
When we come to know that there is new update available for the Android device, and after hoping that the update will also be available for devices which we are using; that makes us happy. However, after reading that the new update is not yet available after checking from the system update setting, then that makes us sad.
Luckily, there is a new trick, which has come up that will make sure your device is in queue and receives the update as soon as it is available.
Here we explain how to do it:-
Google Adwords Reveal The HTC Sensation Is Launching On June 8th?
The HTC Sensation is the new sensational device that the entire world is buzzing about lately, and rightfully so. We knew this dual-core powerhouse was slated for a release sometime this summer, but we could only speculate as to when. Well, if you believe what Google Adwords say, several of them revealed a release date of June 8th. As to whether this is referring to carriers overseas or the blessed US of A, it’s anyone’s guess. Here’s to the latter since I’m a die hard T-Mobile fan. However, since T-Mobile refers to their flagship device as the Sensation 4G, we’re pretty positive that it’s a reference to the former.
iSpy Conspiracy: Your iPhone Is Secretly Tracking Everywhere You’ve Been
This is a map of everywhere I’ve been for the last months. Everywhere. I didn’t carry around a tracking device. The FBI isn’t sending goons in unmarked vans to track me. All I did was use an iPhone. And if you have an iPhone, you’re being tracked right now, too, whether you like it or not.
It turns out that all our iPhones are keeping a record of everywhere you’ve been since June. This data is stored on your phone (or iPad) and computer, easily available to anyone who gets their hands on it.
Make Free Calls From Facebook with T-Mobile’s Bobsled
T-Mobile has added a new VoIP application called Bobsled that’ll let you make free calls from Facebook Chat and also leave voice messages for your Facebook friends on their walls.
To use the service, you first need to visit www.letsbobsled.com and install the app in Facebook (no need to be a T-Mobile subscriber). Once installed and logged into Facebook Chat, you can “call” your Facebook friends and send voice messages, much like you can make free calls from Google Voice.
T-Mobile plans to extend the service with Android and iPhone apps, video chats, the ability to place calls to mobile and landline numbers, and more, taking on Google and Skype.
